Project Description
I was involved in a mining accident December 13, 1994. My leg was crushed by a piece of machinery which left me hospitalized for two months.
After numerous surgeries to try to save my leg, it was determined that my limb would not be functional. I ultimately ended up having my limb amputated below the knee on September 6, 1996.
I was fit with a prosthetic device while in rehabilitation. I tried a couple different prosthetic companies, but I was never truly satisfied until I met Paul with Central Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. two years later. Paul has always provided me with the top of the line prostheses.
After graduating from Eastern Kentucky University in criminal justice, I decided to return back to school and continue my education in the coal industry. Managing my career, school and an active daughter, I cannot afford to be down.
Both Paul and Central Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. have not let that happen. They have always gone out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. Central Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. is my prosthetic company.
